So I am not really sure how to convey the greatness of these shows with a few scenes, so just take my word for it and watch them. I am also not going to go into long things about what the shows are about...that is what IMDB.com is for, but I will say something that you will appreciate after watching them.
Watch the Pilot episodes...if you do not like those then you are lame and should probably go watch a realty TV show.
Comedy-ish
Freaks and Geeks:
Everything Bill does is funnier than anything Napoleon Dynamite ever did.
Arrested Development:
'References'
Chuck
Strahotski
Big Bang Theory
This show just makes me laugh.
Drama-ish
Friday Night Lights:
6, Qb1, Buddy, Clear Eyes Full Hearts Can't Lose. Forgive the shortcomings of Season 2.
Personal Note: Ed...WATCH THIS SHOW!!!! I have never felt so confident in recommending something to someone.
Link is not embedded since this dude requested that, but it was the best summary video I could find without Coldplay...

Twin Peaks:
Bob is scary...seriously.
This one will not be for everyone, it is very stylized and weird, but give it a chance
Journeyman:
I am pretty sure no one watched this other than me. It is not out on DVD, but Hulu will hook you. It was hands down the best show on NBC in the Fall 2007.
Right as it really starts to get good...canceled. Thanks NBC...hope Knight Rider treats you well. F'ers!!
No clips since there are no good ones. Might have something to do with the fact that they came on TV once and again...no DVD's.
Battlestar Galactica:
The Cylons Were Created by Man.
They Rebelled. They Evolved.
They Look and Feel Human. Some are programmed to think they are Human.
There are many copies.
And they have a Plan.
All I can say about this is it is the best TV show that has ever been made. Hands Down. Second place is not even on the radar. Please do not think this is just some lame Sci-Fi space show, it is not. Give this a shot...you will not regret it.
So say we all.

Most Anticpated Movies of 2009
A quick list with the trailers (if available) of the movies I am most looking forward to seeing this year...
10. Fanboys
Will this movie be great. Probably not. Will I enjoy the Star Wars references. Probably.
9. 500 Days of Summer
Shut it. I like the indie type films and this one looks good.
8. The Box
Richard Kelly made one of my favorite movies in Donnie Darko. His follow up, Southland Tales, was kinda lame, but the premise of this movie is awesome.
From IMDB:
Norma and Arthur Lewis, a suburban couple with a young child, receive a simple wooden box as a gift, which bears fatal and irrevocable consequences. A mysterious stranger, delivers the message that the box promises to bestow upon its owner $1 million with the press of a button. But, pressing this button will simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world; someone they don't know. With just 24 hours to have the box in their possession, Norma and Arthur find themselves in the cross-hairs of a startling moral dilemma and must face the true nature of their humanity.
No trailer. Frowny Face.
7. Terminator Salvation
The Terminator is a great series with lots of potential. McG directed TWO Charlies Angels movies. Hopefully the Terminator potential wins out.
6. Public Enemies
The only true mob I can think of is Dick Tracy. I know there has to be more than that. Hopefully with Michael Mann, Johnny Depp, and Christian Bale involved it will be good.
5. Angels and Demons
Angels and Demons is the better book. Lets hope the movie is better than the sub-par DaVinci Code.
4. Inglorious Bastards
Quentin Tarantino. That is all.
No Trailer.
3. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
Robots causing mass destruction is boss...so is Megan Fox
2. Watchmen
I doubt mainstream audiences give this movie much of a look since it just looks like superheroes that they have never heard of.
1. Avatar
James Cameron + Big Budget + Sci-Fi = KING OF THE WORLD!!!!
From IMDB:
In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture

The Site
The plan of this site is to have a place to go while you should be working to kill a few minutes of time. We do not plan to write long articles about things that are covered all over teh internets already. We plan to have lots of lists, suggestions, and other things that are ultimately Better Than Working.
